Things ALWAYS get used!

The last time I visited my mum we went to Ponden Mill in Southport and she made me buy loads of stuff. Yes, she MADE me! Anyway, one of the things I unwilling purchased was a remnant of gorgeous brocade embroidered fabric which was filed in the "it will be useful for something" pile, along with about 100 yards of fringing.

I have finally got around to doing something with it, and I must say I am rather pleased with the result.

This picture doesn't really do justice but I have made this fantastic evening bag which is lined in grey silk and has jeweled grey fringing around the top.
