A very productive afternoon

Thanks to reading this blog, I have been shamed into tidying my sewing room. I have - ahem - had so many bits of fabric and "stuff" it was a nightmare. You know when you're trying to cut patterns and you keep getting your arm caught on something and you can't find the fabric you want?
So, when I got home from Welsh class I made a start. It only took an afternoon, and I am rather pleased with the results. I think it will last at least until I sew something new :o)

Tisk! Stuff falling out of the cupboards, overflowing scraps basket, and a very expensive embroidery machine stuffed under the table getting bashed and trodden on. Actually, it was on the table until yesterday when I thought that it was best to move it (after I had accidentally cut a big hole in the cover sheet whoops!)

Ahhhh! Ready for Zen sewing. OK, that embroidery machine is still under the table but honestly I have nowhere else to put it. And at least it's out of the way now.
